We are seeking an experienced Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer / Data Modeler with strong expertise in Oracle database development, PL/SQL programming, data modeling, ETL, performance tuning, and enterprise data integration. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting high-volume financial applications and working with cross-functional development and data teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain complex Oracle PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, cursors, and stored procedures.
• Develop and maintain Oracle database objects including tables, views, indexes, sequences, synonyms, and materialized views.
• Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models for enterprise data platforms.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable technical and database solutions.
• Perform SQL and PL/SQL performance tuning using Explain Plan, SQL Trace, TKPROF, AUTOTRACE, AWR, and ASH.
• Develop optimized SQL queries, joins, subqueries, and batch-processing solutions for large datasets.
• Design and support ETL/data integration workflows using Informatica IDMC, Informatica PowerCenter, SQL*Loader, External Tables, and PL/SQL.
• Perform data migration, source-to-target mapping, data cleansing, validation, reconciliation, and quality checks.
• Support Oracle Exadata and Autonomous Database environments and optimize database performance.
• Develop Unix/Linux shell scripts and integrate database processes with Autosys scheduling.
• Troubleshoot production database issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement permanent fixes.
• Support database migration and modernization initiatives, including SQL Server-to-Oracle conversions.
• Collaborate with DBAs, developers, data architects, QA teams, and business stakeholders.
• Use Git/GitHub, Jenkins, UDeploy, Ansible, and other CI/CD tools for database code deployment.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and provide technical documentation.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in Oracle SQL/PLSQL development.
• Strong experience with Oracle database development and RDBMS concepts.
• Expertise in PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, cursors, views, indexes, and complex SQL.
• Strong understanding of data modeling and database design.
• Hands-on experience with SQL performance tuning and Explain Plan.
• Experience with ETL, data migration, data validation, and reconciliation.
• Strong experience with Informatica PowerCenter/IDMC.
• Experience with Oracle Exadata and/or Oracle Autonomous Database.
• Strong Unix/Linux shell scripting experience.
• Experience with Git/GitHub and CI/CD tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and production support experience.
