Location: Hybrid – Raleigh, NC / Wake, NC (Local candidates from the Triangle area only – Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill)

Contract: 12+ Months Contract

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced GIS Technical Specialist to support the State Traffic Operations Center (STOC) and Transportation Mobility & Safety team. This role is ideal for a GIS professional with strong Esri expertise who can collaborate with business stakeholders and develop innovative GIS solutions for real-time transportation operations.

Required Skills:

✅ 7+ years of Survey123, Field Maps & Experience Builder
✅ 7+ years of strong communication and business requirement gathering
✅ 5+ years of ArcGIS Pro
✅ 5+ years of ArcGIS Online Administration, Web Mapping & Cartography
✅ Experience building web mapping applications and dashboards
✅ Experience publishing hosted and referenced feature services

Preferred Skills:

⭐ ArcGIS Enterprise Administration & Server Management
⭐ Arcade & Python scripting
⭐ Supervisory experience
⭐ GIS for Public Safety
