Head of Systematic Equity

A tech-forward boutique systematic asset manager - scaled from ~$1B to nearly $8B AUM in the past 12 months via a major distribution partner - is hiring a Head of Systematic Equity to lead alpha research and portfolio management.

The seat:

• Player-coach role reporting directly to the CIO
• Clear path to Co-CIO within ~12 months
• Own the research agenda end-to-end - signals, backtesting, portfolio construction, client-facing analytics
• Flat, collaborative, engineering-driven culture

What they want:

• 10-15+ yrs in medium frequency (days to weeks) quantitative equity as a PM or Head of Research.
• Hands-on. Has built the stack, not just managed people
• PhD / MS in a quant field
