Deal Advisory - Valuation Senior Analyst

What will you do?

  • Perform valuation engagements for internal and external clients, with a particular focus on alternative investments, including real estate, private equity, private debt and infrastructure

  • Conduct valuations of real estate assets, holding companies, and real estate portfolios using appropriate valuation methodologies

  • Develop, review and challenge financial models, including Discounted Cash Flow (DCF), market-based approaches and Net Asset Value (NAV)

  • Analyse financial statements, business plans, cash flow projections, market data and key valuation assumptions

  • Perform independent valuation reviews, assessing the reasonableness of methodologies, assumptions and conclusions prepared by fund managers, external valuers and other third parties

  • Support internal audit teams on valuation-related matters, particularly in the context of alternative investment funds and complex investment structures

  • Prepare detailed valuation reports, in accordance with relevant valuation standards and applicable financial reporting frameworks

  • Participate in client meetings and discussions with fund managers, asset managers and other stakeholders

  • Mentor and coach junior team members where applicable

This position is for you if:

  • You hold a Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field, ideally with a specialisation in Corporate Finance or Real Estate

  • You have between 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience in valuation, financial advisory, audit, alternative investments or real estate

  • You have a solid understanding of valuation methodologies and financial modelling techniques, with a particular interest in alternative investments and real estate

  • You possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to critically assess financial information and valuation assumptions

  • You are proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working with complex financial models; Python and Power BI knowledge are considered an advantage

  • You aim to continue learning and developing your technical expertise across different asset classes

  • You are proactive, involved, highly motivated and take responsibility for your own work

  • You possess strong communication and interpersonal skills and enjoy working in a collaborative, client-oriented environment

  • You are fluent in English. French, German and Luxembourgish are considered a plus, and any other additional European language can be an asset

  • Professional qualifications such as CFA, RICS or CAIA, completed or in progress, and audit background are considered an advantage
