Area Sales Representative | Houston, TX -- Greater Houston Area
Northern Gulf is a renewable fuel logistics and distribution company, focused on aggregating, separating and selling used-cooking oil (“UCO”) along the Gulf coast. The company seeks to make a positive impact in the local community and environment. Our business places collection bins at customer locations to collect UCO and grease from cooking and food production operations.

Representative customers include: restaurants, stadiums, institutions and food manufacturing facilities. Northern Gulf is looking for a proven sales professional to own and grow out in the Houston, TX territory
. This is a field-driven outside sales role for someone who enjoys prospecting, building relationships, closing business and developing a market. You’ll work directly with restaurant owners, chefs, general managers, operators and other decision-makers—from individual restaurants to larger multi-location and strategic accounts.

Prospect and close new restaurant, institutional and food-production accounts
Build and manage your territory and sales pipeline from initial contact through close
Conduct consistent in-person prospecting, site visits and service evaluations
Identify larger-volume, multi-location and regional account opportunities
Document sales activity, follow-ups and pipeline while working toward established monthly account and UCO-volume targets
Proven outside sales or business-development experience
, OR a strong food-and-beverage operating background with demonstrated sales ability
Strong prospecting, relationship-building and closing skills
Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
Target first-year income: $75,000–$90,000 , based on sales production
