Commercial Analytics Consultant

An exciting entertainment and digital commerce business in London is looking for a Commercial Analytics Consultant to join the team on an initial contract.

• Based in London
• 1 day a week in the office (flexible, largely remote after onboarding)
• 6 months initially
• Start date: ASAP
• Up to £670pd Inside IR35

The Job

As the Commercial Analytics Consultant, your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the analysis and optimisation of digital store and eCommerce performance
• Using SQL to query, analyse and interpret large datasets
• Delivering actionable commercial insights and recommendations to stakeholders
• Analysing pricing, promotions, sales trends and trading performance
• Supporting A/B testing and experimentation initiatives
• Creating reports, presentations and insight packs for senior stakeholders
• Identifying opportunities to improve conversion, revenue and customer experience
• Working closely with product, commercial and trading teams
• Presenting findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences

You

• Have strong SQL skills and can work independently with data
• Have experience within eCommerce, digital product, retail or consumer-facing businesses
• Can clearly demonstrate the commercial impact of your analysis
• Have experience with pricing, promotions, sales or trading analytics
• Are comfortable translating complex data into actionable business recommendations
• Have strong stakeholder engagement and presentation skills
• Have experience with experimentation, A/B testing or conversion optimisation
• Experience with AI tools, Python or R would be advantageous
• Experience within gaming or entertainment would be beneficial but is not essential
