Senior Children's Residential Support Worker | Albrighton, England | Hybrid | £36,231 - £40,640

We're hiring on behalf of a leading provider of specialist education and care for children and young people with special educational needs. The Role

  • Facilitate the daily lives of young people, supporting them through emotional highs and lows.
  • Act as a role model, helping young people to regain their childhood and develop into well-rounded adults.
  • Ensure smooth daily operations within the children's home and support the staff team.
  • Step up to deputise for Team Leaders when required, demonstrating leadership potential.
  • Relate to and build strong relationships with young people, showing empathy and compassion.
  • Provide leadership that inspires colleagues and contributes to maintaining high standards of care.

What You'll Need

  • A compassionate, empathetic, and emotionally resilient nature.
  • A 'can-do' attitude and a commitment to teamwork.
  • The resilience to effectively manage challenging situations.
  • A full UK driving licence held for at least 12 months.
  • A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) is advantageous, with support provided for those who don't yet hold it.
  • Honesty and integrity in all interactions.
