The National Security TAFE Centre of Excellence builds knowledge, skills, and processes to develop Australia's sovereign capability and ensure its capacity to build sovereign manufacturing, digital and technology capabilities, and enhance and protect Australia's national security.


The Project Officer engages with leaders and staff across the National Security, TAFE Centre of Excellence Directorate, providing administrative support, expert advice and project skills to support the Business Unit and TAFE SA's strategic outcomes. The role is expected to work under broad guidelines to support, plan, coordinate and deliver advice related to the activities of the Centre of Excellence Directorate.


What You'll Bring

  • Experience developing, managing and delivering projects or multiple workflows in complex environments, while adapting to changing priorities and balancing operational detail with strategic objectives.

  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to build networks, provide clear advice, reports and briefings, and engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Sound judgement, integrity and problem-solving skills, including the ability to handle confidential matters, analyse information, make recommendations and support shared outcomes.


What You Need to Know

A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) issued by the South Australian Department of Human Services is required before employment.
