Job Description

What success looks like in this role:

The Senior Technical Project Manager leads the delivery of medium to complex ICT and construction-related projects, ensuring successful outcomes across scope, budget, schedule, and quality. The role provides project leadership, governance oversight, stakeholder management, and mentoring support to project teams. Have proven experience delivering complex ICT infrastructure or construction projects. Excel at stakeholder engagement, project governance, and risk management. Can lead multidisciplinary teams and drive project outcomes in challenging environments. Are proactive, organized, and skilled at balancing competing priorities. Lead end-to-end delivery of medium to complex ICT and infrastructure projects. Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, dependencies, and resources. Ensure compliance with governance frameworks, organisational standards, and business priorities. Establish and lead collaborative project teams. Drive stakeholder engagement, project reporting, and performance monitoring. Apply change control, risk management, and project review processes. Ensure formal project closure, lessons learned, and continuous improvement activities. Provide mentoring, on-the-job training, and operational support to Technical Project Managers and project team members.

You will be successful in this role if you have:
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex ICT infrastructure, technology, or construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, governance, risk, and change management.
  • Proven leadership and stakeholder management experience.
  • Experience in Government, Defense, or regulated environments highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Relevant qualifications in Project Management, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • PRINCE2, PMP, Agile, MSP, or equivalent project management certifications preferred.
  • Australian Citizenship is Mandatory.
  • NV2 Security Clearance Required.
