The Social Media & Marketing Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day execution of Bigos Management's content, social media, and marketing operations across the portfolio. This role plays a central part in content capture, creation, and management — developing and publishing on-brand content across digital channels, coordinating photography and media production, managing collateral fulfillment, and supporting community engagement and reputation management.

The Social Media & Marketing Coordinator works closely with and reports to the Sr. Brand & Content Specialist, and provides executional support to the broader Marketing team as needed. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
Content Creation, Capture & Management
Designs and generates social media content for all Bigos Management properties and corporate channels, including graphics, photography, video, and written captions, in alignment with each property's brand voice and standards.

Develops and maintains content libraries across all channels, ensuring assets are current, on-brand, and organized for easy access. Visits properties on a regular basis to capture photo and video content for use across websites, social media, and marketing campaigns. Plans and executes content capture sessions in coordination with the Sr. Brand & Content Specialist and on-site teams, ensuring content reflects the current look, feel, and amenities of each community. Captures candid and event-based content at property events, company programs, and community activations.

Edits and prepares captured photo and video assets for use across marketing channels, maintaining a well-organized asset library. Identifies content gaps across the portfolio and proactively schedules capture trips to address them. Writes and edits blog articles, newsletters, and internal communications on a scheduled basis, following the editorial calendar maintained by the Sr. Brand & Content Specialist. Creates flyers, newsletters, and other print and digital collateral as requested by site teams, in compliance with Bigos brand standards.

Ensures all content complies with Fair Housing guidelines and Bigos standards of excellence prior to submission for review. Social Media Execution
Schedules and publishes social media posts across all property and corporate pages using approved scheduling tools. Monitors and manages community engagement across all social media channels, responding to comments and messages from prospects, residents, and community members in a timely and professional manner. Supports the rollout and ongoing management of social media tools and platforms as directed.

Photography & Media Coordination
Supports property photography scheduling and logistics with external vendors such as AGNT Media, as directed by the Sr. Brand & Content Specialist. Assists with virtual staging needs in coordination with vendors such as BoxBrownie, following direction from the Sr. Brand & Content Specialist. Organizes and maintains the Bigos photo and video asset library, ensuring files are properly labeled, stored, and accessible to the team.

Collateral & Order Fulfillment
Manages day-to-day collateral orders placed through the Bigos Store, ensuring timely fulfillment and accurate delivery to site teams. Maintains the Asana-Shopify integration for order tracking and task assignment, flagging any issues to the Sr. Brand & Content Specialist. Website Support
Participates in the Biannual Website Audit process, completing assigned review tasks and edits within established deadlines. Supports the Sr. Brand & Content Specialist in communicating website updates and audit outcomes to site teams.

Flags website content concerns or inaccuracies to the team as identified. Ad Hoc Marketing Support
Provides executional support to the Marketing Manager, Sr. Brand & Content Specialist, and broader Marketing team on projects and initiatives as needed. Assists with the preparation of marketing materials, presentations, and reports for internal stakeholders and leadership. Supports the team during periods of high volume, special campaigns, or team transitions by taking on additional tasks as assigned.

Responds to marketing ticket requests from internal stakeholders through Zendesk, ensuring timely and professional follow-through. Contributes to a collaborative, organized, and solutions-oriented team environment. Responsibility
Produces a high volume of tactical work through effective planning, prioritization, and organization. Adheres to Bigos Management general work rules, and department procedures. Maintains a clean and safe work environment and follows all procedures for employee incidents. Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local laws.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
1+ years of experience in marketing, social media, content creation, or graphic design; multi-family housing or hospitality industry experience preferred.
Demonstrated experience in photography and video capture, with a portfolio that reflects strong composition, lighting, and storytelling skills across both still and video formats.
Proven experience creating and executing social media content, with a track record of building engagement across platforms — particularly Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
Experience with Canva and Adobe products preferred.

Skills and Abilities

High proficiency in Meta platforms (Instagram and Facebook) and TikTok, including a strong understanding of each platform's content formats, algorithms, trends, and best practices for organic growth and engagement. Strong photography and videography skills, including mobile and camera-based capture, on-location shooting, and post-production editing for both social and marketing use. Ability to concept, capture, and produce short-form video content (Reels, TikToks) that is on-brand, trend-aware, and audience-appropriate.

Working knowledge of Canva and Adobe Creative Suite; some familiarity with Adobe Illustrator and InDesign preferred. Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple concurrent projects and deadlines. Positive, proactive attitude with a strong sense of ownership and follow-through. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities. Customer-oriented mindset with the ability to communicate professionally with site teams and external partners.

A portfolio of work or links to relevant social media content and design samples are encouraged but not required.

Physical Demands

Must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer; stamina to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions; strength to lift and carry items weighing up to 10 pounds, including camera and photography equipment; vision to read printed material and a computer screen; and hearing and speech to communicate in-person and over the telephone. Must be able to quickly and easily navigate properties as required to meet the job functions, including attending on-site events and photo shoots.
