The Role

We are seeking an experienced Test Lead to join a high-performing delivery and quality assurance team.

This is a hands-on role focused on ensuring the quality, stability, and successful delivery of technology solutions across complex enterprise environments. You will play a key role in test planning, test execution, defect management, and release assurance activities, working closely with business stakeholders, project teams, developers, and delivery leads.

The ideal candidate will bring strong software testing experience, excellent attention to detail, and a proven track record of ensuring solutions meet both functional and non-functional requirements throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test strategies, test plans, test cases, and validation activities across project and delivery initiatives.
• Perform functional, integration, system, regression, and user acceptance testing activities.
• Verify delivered solutions meet documented business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
• Execute test scenarios and accurately document test outcomes and evidence.
• Identify, record, track, and support the resolution of defects throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Work closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to investigate and resolve issues.
• Assess solution quality, risks, and readiness for deployment.
• Provide test reporting, quality metrics, and status updates to project and delivery teams.
• Contribute to release assurance activities and provide quality sign-off recommendations for deployments.
• Support test data preparation, environment validation, and testing readiness activities.
• Ensure testing artefacts and documentation are maintained in accordance with project and governance standards.
• Participate in defect triage, risk assessments, and quality review activities.
• Collaborate with delivery, technology, and business teams to support successful project outcomes.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes, standards, and quality assurance practices.

What You'll Need

• Experience working as a Test Analyst, QA Analyst, Software Tester, or similar quality assurance role.
• Strong experience in test planning, test execution, and validation activities.
• Proven experience verifying solutions against business and technical requirements.
• Strong defect management experience, including defect identification, tracking, reporting, and resolution support.
• Experience producing test plans, test cases, test scripts, test evidence, and test reports.
• Experience supporting release and deployment activities through quality assurance processes.
• Strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively across business, project, and technical teams.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.

Desirable Skills

• Experience working within Agile, Scrum, or hybrid delivery environments.
• Experience using test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, or ALM.
• Knowledge of non-functional testing including performance, accessibility, security, or usability testing.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale technology transformation programs.
• Understanding of release management and deployment governance processes.
• Exposure to automation testing tools and frameworks.
• Experience working within regulated or large enterprise environments.
