Senior Process Automation Engineer | Stillwater, MN, United States | Hybrid

The Role

  • Design, develop, test, and commission industrial process automation systems.
  • Provide technical leadership and collaborate with cross-functional teams on a variety of projects.
  • Support sales activities, including proposal development and technical pre-sales assistance.
  • Develop detailed process descriptions, design automation software, and ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Commission instrumentation, electrical, and control systems at customer sites.
  • Manage project schedules, identify risks, and contribute to cost-saving initiatives.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar automation engineering role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and experience with Rockwell Automation hardware and software is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% as required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong interpersonal and leadership capabilities.
