We are seeking Network Engineer - Project Leads to deliver hands-on enterprise infrastructure, operational support, and network deployments.
 
Position Details
  • Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite
  • Location: Columbia, SC (Must be an SC resident or relocate prior to start)
  • Interview Process: Virtual (1–2 Rounds)
  • Work Authorization: or Legal Permanent Resident
The Crux of the Position
You will drive enterprise network health through field installation and remote analysis. Core duties involve hands-on equipment deployment (racking, stacking, cabling), configuring switches, and resolving complex wired, wireless, and security incidents.
 
Core Required Skills (2+ Years Minimum)
  • Multi-Vendor Stack: Active hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, and Fortinet devices.
  • Routing & Switching: OSPF, BGP, VLANs, Spanning Tree, TCP/IP, and high-availability design.
  • Field & Infrastructure Operations: Physical deployment, switch configuration, cabling, racking/stacking, and hardware testing.
  • Network Security: Administration of Firewalls, VPNs, and Network Access Controls (NAC).
  • Incident Response & Maintenance: Root-cause troubleshooting, system upgrades, patch management, and on-call rotation support.
Education & Preferred Certifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent technical work experience.
  • Preferred Certs: CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, JNCIS/JNCIP, ACNT, ACSA, ACMA, FCA, or FCP.
Nice-to-Have Experience
  • Supporting high-density wireless or higher education environments.
  • Network automation using Python, Ansible, or APIs.
  • ITIL framework familiarity (Incident, Problem, and Change Management).
