Job description
The Electrical Designer I is responsible for:
- Design and develop of medium complexity wiring harnesses (i.e., door wiring harnesses, lift-gates, fascias, consoles, etc.), brackets and troughs; changes to existing designs. Address and resolve logbook issues.
- Modification of complex components, Quality improvements, CNs, Manufacturing issue resolution to existing parts/assemblies.
- Knowledge of applying GDT to a newly created design
- Package/ position components shown on model integrity report (0,0,0). Design troughs and brackets.
- Create design study proposals, serviceability, address and resolve logbook issues.
- NX/Teamcenter structure management, EBOM2TC; part aliasing and positioning
