Resource 1 Onsite

Primary Platforms: Mainframe Production Services (1st Line Management)

Support Model: First Shift / 7x24x365

• Supervise the IT-I Platform Services Mainframe Production Services Team
• Provide 7x24x365 incident response, addressing outages, errors, and performance issues.
• Work closely with developers on planning, testing, and troubleshooting across development, test, QA, and production.
• Conduct problem determination using logs, diagnostics, and system data to resolve issues effectively.
• Implement approved system changes in compliance with enterprise change management processes.
• Support and perform annual software upgrades for assigned systems across all environments.
• Ensure continuous availability and reliability, prioritizing rapid recovery and service continuity.

Resource 2 Onsite

Primary Platforms: DB2, SFTP, JRB

Support Model: First Shift / 7x24x365

• Monitor platform health for DB2 subsystems, SFTP services, and JRB processing across development, test, QA, and production environments.
• Respond to incidents and alerts impacting DB2, file transfers, or job processing, providing timely problem determination and resolution.
• Work with developers on planning, testing, and troubleshooting issues related to DB2 access, SFTP transfers, and JRB job execution.
• Analyze failures and errors by reviewing logs, job output, and system messages to identify root cause and corrective actions.
• Execute approved changes for TTERM, DB2, SFTP, and JRB in accordance with change management standards.
• Perform and support annual software upgrades for DB2, SFTP, and JRB across all environments.
• Maintain availability and data integrity, ensuring services remain stable and recoveries are completed correctly.

Resource 3 Onsite

Primary Platforms: System Automation, Disaster Recovery, IWS, Storage Administration

Support Model: First Shift / 7x24x365

• Monitor platform health for System Automation subsystems and Storage Administration across development, test, QA, and production environments.
• Respond to incidents and alerts impacting System Automation, Storage Administration and IWS, providing timely problem determination and resolution.
• Work with staff on planning, testing, and troubleshooting issues related to System Automation, Storage Administration, IWS, and Disaster Recovery.
• Analyze failures and errors by reviewing logs, job output, and system messages to identify root cause and corrective actions.
• Execute approved changes for System Automation and IWS in accordance with change management standards.
• Maintain availability and data integrity, ensuring services remain stable and recoveries are completed correctly.
• Support annual software upgrades for Z/OS across all environments.

Resource 4 Onsite

Primary Platforms: Operating System and Hardware Services

Support Model: First Shift / 7x24x365

• Provide daily operational monitoring to verify system availability, performance, and workload completion.
• Respond to incidents and alerts impacting production services, ensuring rapid recovery and service continuity.
• Work closely with application and development teams to support planning, testing, and production readiness.
• Perform problem determination by reviewing system logs, job output, and diagnostic information.
• Implement changes following established change and release management standards.
• Support ongoing operational stability and 7x24x365 support coverage.
• Mainframe z/OS System Software administration which involves Installation and Customization including PARMLIB updates.
• Install all ISV (Independent Software Vendor) products like Systemware JHS, LRS VPS and Chicago Soft QuickRef and provide ongoing support.
• DASD and Tape Storage support, EMC DLM Virtual Tape support, Storage Administration using IBM RMM and SMS administration.
• Provide next level support for our Scheduler Team and troubleshoot Batch job failures and take ZOS on call support.

Resource 5 Onsite

Primary Platforms: Operating System and Hardware Services

Support Model: First Shift / 7x24x365 (Contractor)

• Perform daily monitoring of assigned systems to validate availability, performance, and workload execution.
• Provide incident response and recovery support for production services on a 7x24x365 basis.
• Collaborate with developers and application teams during testing, deployment, and troubleshooting efforts.
• Analyze system issues using logs, messages, and job output to determine root cause.
• Implement approved system and operational changes following change management guidelines.
• Ensure systems remain stable, recoverable, and aligned with service expectations.
• Planning and installation of IBM Mainframes, DISK and Tape Hardware which includes Hardware Configuration and IOGENs.
• Plan and install z/OS Operating System, apply maintenance, and IBM products (COBOL, Netview, System Automation, CICS, Db2, MQ, RACF, OMEGAMON) etc).
• Storage Administration using SMS, RMM, HSM.
• Setup replication of Storage (Disk and Tape) and perform Disaster Recovery.
• Performance Management and tuning using SMF, RMF, WLM etc.
