IT Desktop Support Specialist
Apex Systems has an immediate opening for an IT Desktop Support Specialist in Norfolk, VA. This is a great long-term opportunity to grow your IT career while supporting one of our largest government clients. Please see below for additional details.

Contract: Long-term contract
Schedule: Monday-Friday (Day Shift)
Pay Rate: $26-$32 per hour
Requirements

• DoD-issued Secret security clearance
• Active CompTIA Security+ CE certification
• 4 -6 years of IT or desktop support experience

Key Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support for laptops, desktops, peripheral equipment, and software
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and basic Microsoft Outlook issues
• Support Windows operating systems and Windows Server environments
• Assist with Active Directory user accounts and permissions
• Support basic networking, cabling, and office or workstation setups
• Assist with testing and implementing IT solutions
• Work independently with minimal direction and respond to end-user issues promptly
