Arlington Pediatrics– Arlington, WA

Arlington Pediatrics, a trusted practice supported by Mosaic Dental Collective, is looking for an upbeat, dependable, and team-oriented Sterilization Technician. Will be responsible for infection control (providing sterile instruments), OSHA compliance and communicating with staff about the availability of supplies and instruments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Scrub and wash surgical instruments, containers, and equipment, such as aspirators and
suction units
• Sterilize instruments, equipment, surgical linens, and supplies, such as surgical packs and
treatment trays, using autoclave, sterilizer, or antiseptic solutions
• Prepare packs of supplies, instruments, and dressing and treatment trays, according to
designated lists or codes, and wrap, label, and seal packs
• Store prepared articles and supplies in designated areas
• Fill requisitions, write charges, and inventory supplies
• Conducts spore testing on autoclaves and records results
• Log required information regarding the disposal of hazardous waste materials
• Perform other duties as assigned
This is a part-time position 2 days a week. Varied days Mon-Thur.
Pay range: $18-$22 hr.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent, and specified training courses as mandated by state for certification, licensure, or registration
- 1+ years of prior experience preferred
- Certifications/licenses/registrations as mandated by applicable state. RDA registration required.
- Highly organized and attentive to patients’ needs
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Maintain a neat and professional appearance at all times.
