MLD Teacher

We are looking for passionate SEND Teachers to join a leading educational support organization dedicated to making a profound impact on the lives of young people with diverse learning needs. We partner with schools and local authorities to provide tailored, trauma-informed educational interventions.

The Role

• Provide in-person, online, and hybrid tuition in Maths, English, or Science to young people with SEND and SEMH needs, including MLD.
• Support pupils across KS1-KS5, referred by local authorities and schools.
• Plan and deliver flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring sessions.
• Plan lessons, report on activities, and provide regular feedback on student progress.
• Work with a child-centred organization committed to reimagining support for vulnerable young people.

What You'll Need

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS).
• At least 2 years of teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD.
• Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment.
• Enhanced DBS check (facilitated if needed) and two professional references.
• Must be based in the UK with the right to work.
