Electrical Design ERP BOM Engineer

Role Summary:
The Electrical BOM Engineer will review released project drawing packages and validate ERP Bill of
Materials accuracy to support manufacturing readiness and production execution.
Key Responsibilities:
• The candidate will execute Electrical design activities while also supporting Engineering Bill of Materials
(EBOM) and ERP BOM validation to ensure manufacturing-ready engineering documentation. Existing
part numbers massaging in ERP like update description, add part catalogue, image, update as per new
defined attributes etc.
• Review project drawing packages including GA drawings, schematics, panel layouts and material lists.
• Compare engineering drawings with ERP BOM records.
• Identify missing components, quantity discrepancies and incorrect part numbers.
• Update ERP BOM records and part numbers to align with released engineering documentation

• Support procurement teams by ensuring material completeness prior to production.
• Track recurring causes of BOM errors and recommend process improvements.
• Generate audit reports and closure summaries for each project reviewed.
• Work with engineering and manufacturing teams to resolve discrepancies.
• Support pilot projects and develop standard audit procedures.
Required Skills:
• Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical engineering drawings.
• Understanding of Bill of Materials structures.
• Experience with manufacturing engineering documentation.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and material management processes.
• Strong attention to detail and investigative mindset.
• Good communication and documentation skills
