Financial Operations Associate

An actionable analytics shop is seeking a Financial Ops Associate to support critical function of onboarding, managing, validating, and troubleshooting financial data from their business intelligence platform, the offering is geared toward participants in the hospitality/ HRIM participants. This role is 100% remote capable in a Direct-hire format

This opportunity is suited for candidates coming from analyst positions at hotel owners, investors, brokers, or management companies who are looking to deepen their expertise in financial data management within the hotel industry.

Required Skills & Experience

2-5 years of experience in hotel finance, accounting, financial data management, or a related role within a hotel ownership, investment, brokerage, or management company
Understanding of hotel accounting, ERP, and FP&A tools
Familiarity with USALI (Uniform System of Accounts for the Lodging Industry).
Advanced proficiency in Excel.

Desired Skills & Experience

Experience with financial software platforms and business intelligence tools is a plus[VM1]
Ability to interpret complex financial data and identify patterns or discrepancies
Highly organized and able to work independently within a fast-paced environment.

What You Will Be Doing

Financial Data Processing: Assist in the end-to-end process of loading, validating, mapping, and managing customer financial data in their platform
Data Accuracy & Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve data inconsistencies and anomalies to ensure accurate reporting.
Mapping Integrity: Support the maintenance of their platforms standardized USALI-compliant chart of accounts and the mapping of hotel data to it, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
Customer Support: Assist in troubleshooting data-related issues for customers and guide them through solutions.
