Senior Finance Analyst

Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst for an onsite contract position with a Major Utility Company located in Wheatfield, IN. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This role provides high-level financial and accounting support for major projects, including potential acquisitions. The successful candidate will develop financial models, offer advice on complex audit matters, supervise and train other staff, and assist with financial research and analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Provide advice in highly complex audit matters and participate in large scale business projects
• Supervise, provide direction, and train other staff while developing financial models
• Make decisions and recommendations on highly technical or complex issues and exercise resourcefulness and ingenuity to interpret policy
• Provide finance and accounting support for potential acquisitions and or ongoing major projects
• Review data room material, identifying potential financial accounting issues and the financial reporting impact of these issues
• Review financial models to ensure appropriate presentation of accounting treatment and accuracy
• Assist accounting and financial reporting groups with financial research and analysis for special projects and financial statement review

Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree in business, finance or related discipline
• Finance or Accounting Designation (CFA, CPA, etc.)
• 10 to 15 years of relevant experience
• Ability to work onsite 5 days a week in Wheatfield, IN

Pay range: up to $48.43 per hour
