The Role

• Take responsibility for safeguarding and child protection within the school, acting as a key member of the leadership team.
• Liaise with statutory and non-statutory agencies, parents/carers, and staff on matters of wellbeing, child protection, and safeguarding.
• Provide expert advice, support, and guidance to the team, serving as a primary source of expertise.
• Collaborate with colleagues across different locations to foster professional development and knowledge sharing.
• Contribute to the school's mission of providing high-quality education and care for pupils with autism and additional needs.

What You'll Need

• A minimum of 3 years' experience in a Designated Safeguarding Lead role.
• A comprehensive portfolio of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) related to Safeguarding and Child Protection.
• Outstanding interpersonal and problem-resolution skills.
• A genuinely empathetic and supportive approach.
• A full UK driving licence.
