Project Engineer Substations | Hamburg, Germany | Hybrid

The Role

  • Take responsibility for technical solutions in the planning and execution of substations for wind farm projects.
  • Ensure precise coordination of electrical and civil interfaces and compliance of designs with technical and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage technical interfaces between civil and electrical disciplines.
  • Verify and validate BoP designs for substations, including civil works, HV/MV systems, and protection/control systems.
  • Support technical clarifications and problem-solving during construction and commissioning phases.
  • Conduct site inspections, FAT/SAT, and maintain project documentation.

What You'll Need

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in BoP planning for substations.
  • Strong knowledge of standards, grid connection, and construction requirements.
  • Proven experience in design and documentation management.
  • Fluency in German and very good English language skills.
  • Willingness to travel and a structured approach to work.
