IT Security Specialist (m/f/d) Permanent position | Digital & IT | Full-time, Part-time | E 12 Here's what you can expect: SECURITY OPERATIONS You will monitor the IT landscape for security-related events, analyze threats and vulnerabilities, coordinate the handling of security incidents, and implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent, detect, and minimize risks.

OPERATIONAL SECURITY You will administer, monitor, and optimize central IT security solutions, analyze security-related events, and ensure reliable operations. IT SECURITY ARCHITECTURE You will continuously design, implement, and further develop the IT security architecture for the city's infrastructure, taking into account current developments and threats in the field of cybersecurity. PROJECT WORK You will independently plan, manage, and coordinate IT security projects, working closely with internal departments, service providers, and manufacturers.

CYBER RESILIENCE You will create, maintain, and review IT emergency, recovery, and incident response plans, and actively participate in the preparation and execution of emergency drills. ADVISORY AND COORDINATION You will advise colleagues on IT security issues, assist with the implementation of security requirements, and coordinate security-related measures with internal and external stakeholders. What sets you apart:QUALIFICATIONSYou have successfully completed an associate's or bachelor's degree in computer science, business informatics, IT security, or a comparable field.

PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCE & KNOWLEDGE Ideally, you have in-depth knowledge of IT security, networks, operating systems, and modern security architectures; you also ideally have experience with relevant IT security standards and regulations (e. G., BSI IT-Grundschutz, ISO 27001, or NIS2). INITIATIVE & INDEPENDENCE You tackle tasks independently and proactively; you are known for acting independently and responsibly. PROJECT MANAGEMENT SKILLS You plan and coordinate tasks and projects independently while keeping track of deadlines, priorities, and quality requirements.

ANALYTICAL AND PROBLEM-SOLVING SKILLS You analyze complex technical interrelationships and security risks, identify the need for action early on, and develop structured, sustainable, and effective solutions even in critical situations. COMMUNICATION SKILLS You communicate clearly, confidently, and in a manner tailored to your audience in German (at least C1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages), convey technical information in an understandable way, and enjoy working constructively with departments, service providers, and colleagues.
