Data Analyst

GovCIO is currently hiring for a Data Analyst tosupport program management, data analytics, dashboard development and reporting activities at Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). This role will work with a team of both officers and contractors to interconnect reporting and analytics, tasking responses, and overall information to support the ICE mission. This role will directly support activities with the San Antonio Field Office on-site as they work to integrate processes to make law enforcement initiatives more efficient.
Responsibilities

• Provide analysis of ICE specific mission data, processes, field operations, strategic planning, or nuanced mission systems.
• Develop data analytics dashboards, tools and templates to support the efficient collection and analysis of field metrics.
• Utilize tools such as Power BI, tableau, Excel, and Access to provide visualizations to overall data sets.
• Support collaboration with multiple stakeholders, such as business, scrum teams, other project managers, to collect and compile information to ensure timely responses to requests and ad hoc assignments.
• Facilitate the needs, issues, and challenges faced by the clients; perform gap analysis and recommend solutions.
• Use source data to assess the effectiveness of projects and business processes.
• Develop, gather and disseminate information and documentation among both business and technical customers.
• Work with all team members to analyze changes in requirements and recommend the most expedient solutions in a timely manner.
• Leverage advanced writing skills to translate complicated issues from multiple information sources into a clear point of view to create a compelling, concise, and well-written narrative.
• Leverage excellent presentation development skills to prepare meeting agendas and synthesize complex information into succinct visualizations using tools such as PowerPoint.

Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's with 3 + years (or commensurate experience) in dynamic customer delivery environments

Clearance Required: Ability to attain and maintain DHS clearance (ship required)

• Ability to translate ICE specific mission needs into tactical execution of reports, taskings and overall data analytics.
• Excellent data analytic and oral communication skills.
• Strong understanding in project management and data analysis.

• Ability to work independently in an extremely fast-paced environment.

• Possess clear understanding of the activities, roles, and responsibilities on large scale IT projects.

Posted Salary Range
USD $85,000.00 - USD $95,000.00 /Yr.
