Job Description
Title: Operational Analyst - Systematic Withdrawal Plan (SWP)
Location : Minneapolis, MN or Milwaukee, WI or Chicago, IL
Onsite
Duration: 1 year plus
Essential Qualification and Work Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting,
- Commerce, Economics or related field.
- 1-4 years of experience in: Custody Operations on SWP.
Soft Skills:
- Demonstrate effective communication skills
- Effectively coordinate, manage and complete multiple duties and assignments concurrently and within acceptable timelines.
- Ability to learn and become an expert in field.
Domain/Technical Skills:
- Proficient in SWP navigation and client/portfolio-level data research
- Skilled in generating and interpreting BOXI reports on SWP for MIS and reporting
- Understanding of Capital Markets Knowledge of Equities, Fixed Income, Traditional Assets, Bonds, Mutual Funds.
- Must be knowledgeable in all areas of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Access and Outlook.
Preferred Technical Skills:
Preference in: Accounting, Finance or Business related field.
Position Summary:
The Operations analyst will work in the back office processing area supporting through the banking and advisor client groups. This role requires a self-motivated, goal oriented individual with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a time sensitive delivery schedule.
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned)
- Basic processing and/or service activities specific to team function on SWP like -
- Process static data amendments (DOB, address, fee package, statement recipients, etc.).
- Execute inter-account cash/stock transfers as per client instructions.
- Manage recurring and ad-hoc cash disbursements, including dividend and interest payout.
- Review and post cash receipts from clients and counterparties.
- Interact effectively with multiple operational processing teams.
- Maintaining the highest level of confidentiality, quality and privacy.
- Manage a time-sensitive delivery schedule.
- Other duties as assigned.
