Intermodal Equipment Operator | Jacksontown, OH | Hybrid This employer is hiring immediately for a critical role within a global supply chain operation. The Role • Operate heavy machinery, including hostlers, cranes, top loaders, and side loaders, to manage shipping containers. • Load and unload containers from railcars and trucks accurately and safely. • Drive hostlers to maneuver containers and chassis within the intermodal yard. • Conduct pre- and post-operation equipment inspections to ensure safety and functionality. • Collaborate with yard personnel and supervisors to coordinate daily tasks and container movements. • Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to established safety protocols and procedures. What You'll Need • A valid driver's license is required. • Previous experience operating heavy equipment in a logistics or industrial setting is preferred. • Strong commitment to safety and a keen attention to detail. • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50lbs and climbing ladders/stairs. • Willingness to work flexible schedules, including night shifts, weekends, and holidays. • Good communication and teamwork skills.
