Systems Engineer III with Security Clearance

Job Description SOSi is seeking an Intermediate Systems Engineer to support production operations, software deployments, and enterprise application sustainment for a large federal information system. The Intermediate Systems Engineer will support day-to-day production operations, software releases, system administration, configuration management, and operational troubleshooting activities. Responsibilities

• Support production operations.
• Assist with software deployments and release activities.
• Monitor production environments and troubleshoot operational issues.
• Support configuration management and documentation.
• Coordinate with software engineers and customer stakeholders to resolve production issues.
• Support testing and implementation activities. Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years supporting enterprise IT systems.
• Experience supporting production environments.
• Experience supporting software implementation activities.
• Technical skills in IBM z/OS, JCL, Oracle, Cognos, Broadcom Endevor, Configuration Management

Preferred:

• COBOL
• IDMS
• Enterprise financial systems
• ERP or payroll applications Additional Information Work Environment
• Normal office conditions with potential to perform duties in deployed locations
• Remote or Hybrid work model
• Core hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 0600 - 1700.
• May be requested to work evenings and weekends to meet program and contract needs
