Loan Servicing Specialist

Peoples Security Bank & Trust Company is seeking a Loan Servicing Specialist I to support the lifecycle of consumer and commercial loans in a community banking environment. Responsibilities include boarding new loans, processing payments, maintaining accurate records, monitoring escrow, and handling payoff requests and lien releases. The role ensures compliance with internal policies and banking regulations while providing responsive, professional service to customers and internal partners. This position collaborates closely with lending and branch teams, contributing to a relationship-driven culture and the financial well-being of our local communities.

Responsibilities

• Board new consumer and commercial loans accurately into core banking systems.
• Process loan payments, adjustments, and payoffs in a timely, accurate manner.
• Maintain complete and compliant electronic and paper loan files.
• Monitor and manage escrow accounts, including tax and insurance disbursements.
• Prepare payoff quotes, lien releases, and related documentation.
• Research and resolve loan account discrepancies, errors, or customer inquiries.
• Ensure adherence to bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with lending, branch, and operations teams to support relationship banking.
• Generate and review loan servicing reports for accuracy and completeness.
• Identify opportunities to improve servicing processes and customer experience.
