Active SC Clearance required We are partnering with a leading government programme to recruit an experienced DevOps / Cloud Engineer to join a highly skilled cloud engineering function.

This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a large-scale digital transformation programme, helping to design, automate and support secure cloud environments that underpin critical public sector services.

Working closely with architects, developers and security specialists, you will play a key role in building scalable cloud platforms, enhancing deployment capabilities and driving DevOps best practices across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities<br />Design, implement and maintain secure AWS cloud infrastructure.<br />Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform.<br />Build, optimise and support CI/CD pipelines utilising GitHub Actions and Jenkins.<br />Deploy, manage and troubleshoot containerised applications with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).<br />Implement monitoring, logging and observability solutions to improve platform visibility.<br />Automate operational and deployment processes using Python and Bash scripting.<br />Ensure platform reliability, scalability and high availability.<br />Maintain security, compliance and governance standards across cloud environments.<br />Support DevSecOps and Platform Engineering initiatives.<br />Collaborate with technical teams, providing guidance and best-practice recommendations.Required Skills &amp; Experience<br />Active SC Clearance (mandatory).<br />Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.<br />Proven expertise with Terraform.<br />Commercial experience with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS preferred).<br />Strong knowledge of GitHub Actions and Jenkins.<br />Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.<br />Bash scripting and Python automation experience.<br />Solid understanding of IAM and cloud security principles.<br />Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines.<br />Exposure to monitoring, logging and observability tools.<br />Experience working within Agile delivery environments.Contract Overview<br />£600 per day, Outside IR35.<br />Initial 6-month contract with strong extension potential.<br />Hybrid working model with 1 day per week onsite in London.<br />Opportunity to work on a high-profile government transformation programme
