Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES

Kforce is immediately seeking an experienced Data Center Project Manager in support of our enterprise storage and compute customer based in Frisco, Texas.

Duties

  • Lead enterprise infrastructure projects and deliverables from initiation through implementation and successful closure
  • Plan, coordinate, and deliver large-scale data center compute, storage, network, migration, and infrastructure refresh initiatives
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across networking, compute, storage, security, cloud, and data center operations
  • Manage dependencies across complex infrastructure environments supporting mission-critical business applications
  • Coordinate implementation activities involving servers, virtualization platforms, storage systems, network infrastructure, and associated data center technologies
  • Support the deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting of enterprise network infrastructure
  • Configure and troubleshoot QoS, VLANs, ACLs, routing, and other network services
  • Utilize network monitoring and troubleshooting solutions such as NetFlow, SolarWinds, and application response-time monitoring tools to identify and resolve infrastructure issues
  • Support data center networking environments utilizing Leaf-Spine architectures
  • Assist with troubleshooting network, connectivity, and equipment issues throughout the project lifecycle
  • Coordinate technical teams, stakeholders, schedules, dependencies, risks, and deliverables to ensure infrastructure initiatives remain aligned with project objectives
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Strong hands-on experience with Juniper and Arista hardware switches
  • Strong experience leading or coordinating enterprise infrastructure and data center projects
  • Strong experience with both IPv4 and IPv6 environments
  • Strong experience working within data center network environments, including Leaf-Spine architecture
  • Demonstrated experience planning and delivering large-scale data center compute and storage deployments, migrations, and technology refresh initiatives
  • Experience with SDN and SD-WAN products and services
  • Experience with enterprise networking platforms including Company Aruba, 3Com, H3C, Arista, and Juniper switches
  • Experience with network security technologies including Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Check Point firewalls
  • Demonstrated knowledge of enterprise compute, storage, and infrastructure platforms supporting mission-critical applications
  • Advanced knowledge of networking technologies and protocols, including TCP/IP, routing, DNS, DDNS, DHCP, SSH, VPNs, RIP, BGP, OSPF, IP Multicast, and MPLS
  • Hands-on knowledge of QoS, VLANs, ACLs, IP traffic management, DNS/DHCP, NTP, network security, and monitoring technologies
  • Working knowledge of structured cabling systems and data center network facilities
  • Strong understanding of server, virtualization, storage, networking, and their dependencies within complex data center environments
  • Strong understanding of F5 LTM and GTM technologies
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, coordination, and cross-functional project leadership skills
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
