Required Skills:
 
Backend
  • Core Java (OOP, collections, exception handling, multithreading, Java 8+ features like streams/lambdas)
  • Spring Framework – Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, Spring Security
  • RESTful API design and development (also SOAP in legacy environments)
  • Hibernate/JPA for ORM
  • Microservices architecture (often with Spring Cloud, service discovery, API gateways)
  • Build tools: Maven or Gradle
  • Message queues: Kafka, RabbitMQ (for many roles)
Frontend
  • HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+)
  • A modern JS framework: React.js (most common pairing), Angular, or Vue.js
  • State management: Redux, Context API, NgRx, etc.
  • Responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
