Job Overview
We are looking for a Business Analyst II to support a team focused on promotional planning, data analysis, and category management. The contractor will work closely with merchant and cross-functional teams, analyzing historical data to support future promotional activities. The role requires someone who is highly analytical, extremely comfortable with Excel and data, organized, and able to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have a business-oriented background and experience working with large organizations, preferably within retail, product, merchandising, or similar environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide ad hoc analytical support for monthly promotional activities.
- Work closely with Merchants to support promotional planning.
- Analyze historical data to help inform future promotions.
- Pull, organize, clean, and analyze data using Excel.
- Support promotional plans and prepare data for reporting.
- Perform data mining and analysis to identify useful insights.
- Format and prepare reports for stakeholders.
- Support category management activities.
- Support the Whole Body team and lifestyle merchandising initiatives.
- Provide specific analytical support for the baby cooler project.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Ensure high levels of data accuracy and timely delivery.
Required Qualifications
Must-Have Skills
- Expert-level Excel and analytical skills
- Strong ability to work with large amounts of data.
- Ability to pull, organize, analyze, and present data using Excel.
- Self-learner
- Able to independently learn new processes, systems, and business requirements.
- Stakeholder Management
- Experience communicating and working effectively with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

- Strong data analysis and data-mining capabilities.

Experience & Education
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience required.

- Experience working in a business/analytical environment.
- Retail or product experience is preferred.
