Lead Identity Engineer – Saviynt IGA

We are seeking an experienced Lead Identity Engineer specializing in Saviynt Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) to lead the design, implementation, integration, and support of enterprise identity governance solutions.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Saviynt Enterprise Identity Cloud (EIC), identity lifecycle management, access governance, automated provisioning, and enterprise application integrations. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, solution design capabilities, and leadership skills to deliver scalable, secure, and compliant identity management solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design, implementation, configuration, and support of Saviynt IGA solutions.
Design and maintain identity lifecycle management workflows, including joiner, mover, and leaver processes.
Configure access request, approval, certification, provisioning, and deprovisioning workflows.
Lead application onboarding and integration with enterprise applications, directories, HR systems, and cloud platforms.
Develop and maintain integrations using REST APIs, SCIM, Java, JavaScript, XML, and SQL.
Implement role-based access control (RBAC), access governance policies, and segregation of duties (SoD) controls.
Troubleshoot complex issues involving Saviynt connectors, workflows, provisioning, and integrations.
Collaborate with security, infrastructure, application, and business teams to deliver identity governance initiatives.
Establish engineering standards, reusable frameworks, and best practices for IGA implementation.
Lead technical reviews, solution assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Manage incidents, service requests, and change activities in accordance with established SLAs.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, estimation, and release management.
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to project teams.
Ensure identity governance solutions align with enterprise security policies and applicable compliance requirements.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in IAM and IGA implementation and support.
Strong hands-on experience with Saviynt EIC, including workflows, connectors, access requests, certifications, and lifecycle management.
Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, XML, SQL, REST APIs, and SCIM integrations.
Experience integrating identity governance platforms with Active Directory, LDAP, HR systems, enterprise applications, and cloud environments.
Strong understanding of identity lifecycle management, RBAC, provisioning, deprovisioning, authentication, authorization, and access governance.
Knowledge of security controls, audit requirements, and compliance frameworks.
Experience supporting enterprise production environments and resolving complex technical issues.
Strong communication, analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in banking, financial services, or other regulated industries.
Knowledge of SAML, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect.
Familiarity with Linux, Oracle, SQL Server, WebLogic, and Tomcat.
Experience with ServiceNow, Jira, and enterprise ITSM processes.
Relevant IAM, IGA, cybersecurity, or cloud certifications.
