Job description
About the Role
Join a legal AI product team as its first product manager, owning strategy and roadmap for an AI platform that supports enterprise contract work. This founding-level role offers end-to-end product ownership, from deciding what to build to shaping how the product function operates.
What You'll Do
Own product strategy and roadmap, making clear decisions about priorities and tradeoffs.
Combine customer feedback gathered by customer-facing legal engineers to guide product direction.
Partner with engineering to scope deliverables and adapt planning to AI-assisted development workflows.
Discuss AI and agent architecture tradeoffs with engineers and rapidly prototype ideas using tools such as Claude Code or Cursor.
Establish product practices for prioritization, documentation, launches, and measuring outcomes.
What We're Looking For
Five to ten years of product management experience on AI-focused engineering teams, including ownership of product roadmaps.
Experience scoping and shipping core AI or LLM-based products in production, including familiarity with agent systems, evaluations, latency, model behavior, and context.
Strong technical collaboration skills, with experience working closely with engineers and prototyping with AI developer tools such as Claude Code or Cursor.
Product management experience at B2B SaaS or AI-native companies, plus early-stage startup experience, founder experience, or experience as a first product hire.
Ability to analyze product data using SQL or coding agents; experience with funnels and cohorts is useful.
A track record of sustained roles and product work beyond internal tools, HR workflows, or APIs and integrations.
