• Run the vendor payment process, including periodic invoice review and processing of ACH batches, wires, and other payment types
• Partner with the technology team to set up purchase orders accurately and on time for new and renewing market data, colocation, and related services
• Perform general ledger reconciliations and accounting tasks in accordance with GAAP, supporting the month-end close
• Analyze variances in technology-related expenses against budget and prior periods, investigating and explaining significant fluctuations
• Maintain internal controls over cash and payments, including payment approval workflows and segregation of duties
• Help prepare schedules and supporting documentation for external auditors
What You Bring
• 4+ years of experience in accounting
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
• Hands-on experience with treasury or cash management, including vendor payment processing (ACH and wires), bank funding, and cash monitoring
• Strong knowledge of general ledger reconciliation practices
• Working knowledge of GAAP and accrual accounting, including accruing for open purchase orders
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, especially Excel
• Ability to collaborate with non-finance teams, such as technology, and to communicate financial information clearly
• Ability to work independently after onboarding
Nice to Have
• CPA designation
• Experience with Sage Intacct
• Experience in the securities trading industry or financial services
• Familiarity with purchase order and procure-to-pay processes
• Curiosity about AI. We encourage the use of tools like Claude and Microsoft Copilot to work smarter, and we want teammates who enjoy finding better ways to get things done
