Job Description

Vita Coco is the leading coconut water brand in the world, built on a simple idea: bring better-for-you, natural hydration to more people. Since starting in 2004, we’ve grown into a global business with teams in New York, London, and Singapore, and we’re now publicly traded on NASDAQ under COCO.

As a Public Benefit Corporation and Certified B Corp, we’re committed to supporting farming communities, sourcing responsibly, and building products that are better for people and the planet. We move fast, stay scrappy, and care deeply about doing the right thing.

We’re now looking for someone who’s excited to join a growing, purpose-driven company and help shape what comes next.

Our Values:

  • Human First: We lead with inclusivity, transparency, and empathy.
  • Nothing is Impossible: We experiment, learn, and keep moving forward.
  • United by Our Will to Win: We stay aligned, work collaboratively, and push toward shared goals.
  • Part of Something Bigger: We’re committed to uplifting the communities we’re connected to locally and globally

Vita Coco is seeking a Finance Manager to serve as the key financial partner between our New York headquarters and our Thailand manufacturing operations. This role will be responsible for driving financial planning, forecasting, month-end close support, reporting, and process improvements while ensuring strong communication and alignment across teams.

The ideal candidate is fluent in both Thai and English, has a strong foundation in corporate finance and accounting, and is comfortable working across cultures and time zones. This person will play a critical role in helping transform and strengthen financial processes while acting as a trusted liaison between the U.S. and Thailand teams.

What You'll Do:

Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Partner with Thailand-based teams to gather, review, and consolidate forecasts, budgets, and financial plans.
  • Translate operational and financial insights into reporting that can be incorporated into U.S.-based planning processes.
  • Support annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning activities.

Financial Reporting & Month-End Close

  • Coordinate with Thailand finance and operational teams to ensure timely and accurate month-end close activities.
  • Analyze monthly results, identify key variances, and provide clear explanations to finance leadership.
  • Monitor financial performance and communicate risks and opportunities to stakeholders.

Controls & Process Improvement

  • Support the development and maintenance of strong financial controls and reporting processes.
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial workflows, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency.
  • Assist in standardizing finance processes between Thailand operations and U.S. corporate teams.

Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Serve as the primary finance point of contact between New York and Thailand.
  • Partner closely with manufacturing, operations, accounting, and finance teams to ensure alignment on financial priorities.
  • Facilitate communication across teams and help bridge language, cultural, and business context gaps.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in finance, FP&A, accounting, audit, or related disciplines.
  • Fluent in both Thai and English, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and analytical skills.
  • Experience working with financial reporting and month-end close processes.
  • Ability to work effectively across international teams and multiple time zones.
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPA, CFA, or equivalent professional certification.
  • Experience in a public accounting firm (Big Four experience is a plus).
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, operations, supply chain, or international business environments.
  • Experience driving process improvement and financial transformation initiatives.
  • Consumer products, food & beverage, or manufacturing experience is helpful but not required.
