Night Support Worker - Children's Homes | Willington, England | Hybrid | £30,849 - £33,896

This employer is a leading provider of specialist education and care for children and young people with special educational needs. They are seeking dedicated Night Support Workers to join their team and make a significant difference in the lives of vulnerable youth. The Role

  • Provide essential overnight support to young people with social, emotional, and mental health needs.
  • Offer comfort and understanding to young people experiencing distress or difficulty sleeping during the night.
  • Build trust and rapport with residents, becoming a reliable figure in their lives.
  • Undertake essential household tasks during quieter periods, including paperwork, cleaning, and laundry.
  • Contribute to creating a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment within the children's homes.
  • Work across multiple homes on a single site as required.

What You'll Need

  • A compassionate and empathetic approach with a genuine desire to support young people.
  • Resilience and the ability to manage challenging situations effectively.
  • A 'can-do' attitude and a willingness to be a supportive team player.
  • A full UK driving licence held for at least 12 months.
  • Willingness to undertake a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare if not already held (fully funded and supported).
  • Honesty and integrity are essential qualities.
