The Role

• Oversee welding operations in accordance with DIN2303 / DIN EN ISO 14731 standards.
• Create welding instructions, sequence plans, and provide manufacturing support.
• Conduct and approve welding-related drawing inspections and monitor production processes.
• Contribute to the development of the management system and processes within welding technology and the QM welding handbook.
• Provide expert consultation on welding and material technology to various departments and advise on jig and fixture design.
• Investigate and assess welding-related damage cases.
• Perform welding acceptance tests at suppliers and weld inspections.
• Support test planning for welding, material technology, and non-destructive testing.
• Participate in the definition and execution of new welding projects and select/deploy welding consumables.

What You'll Need

• Completed degree in Mechanical Engineering or a comparable field, with additional qualification as a Welding Engineer.
• Ideally, certification in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods VT, MT, and PT.
• 3D CAD knowledge is a plus.
• Fluent English and ideally French language skills, with a willingness to undertake regular business travel domestically and internationally.
• Proactive, independent, and responsible work approach, with a confident demeanor towards national and international partners.
