Business Analyst with Power BI & Databricks - FULLTIME

Role Summary

We are looking for a Business Analyst with Power BI and Databricks knowledge who can work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver data and reporting solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and understand requirements.
• Analyze business requirements and mock-ups and translate them into functional requirements.
• Understand business processes, application functionality, and reporting requirements.
• Work closely with Power BI Developers, Data Engineers, and QA teams to define and refine requirements.
• Track cross-team dependencies and conduct requirement and solution walkthrough sessions.
• Support Power BI reporting and analytics requirements and understand report functionality.
• Have a good understanding of Databricks, data sources, tables, and data flow supporting Power BI reports.
• Coordinate UAT activities and conduct UAT feedback sessions.
• Analyze UAT feedback and document enhancement requirements.
• Create and track Jira stories, tasks, defects, and enhancements.
• Coordinate multiple walkthrough sessions throughout the report development and delivery lifecycle.
• Support end-to-end report delivery from requirement gathering through UAT and production.
• Collaborate with teams across different time zones.
• Communicate requirements, dependencies, issues, and delivery status to stakeholders.

Required Skills

• Strong Business Analysis and requirement-gathering skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of Power BI and business reporting.
• Knowledge of Databricks and SQL.
• Experience working with Development, QA, Data Engineering, and Business teams.
• Experience with UAT and Jira.
• Ability to work with global teams across different time zones.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in Data & Analytics / Business Intelligence projects.
• Experience working with Power BI and Databricks-based reporting solutions.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
