Sr. Software Engineer

job summary:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Software Engineer with strong experience in Microsoft Azure and modern backend development to design, develop, and implement scalable, secure cloud-based applications. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Microsoft .NET technologies, Azure cloud services, and a proven track record of designing and delivering complex, scalable, and secure solutions, supplemented by strong data processing capabilities using Python, PySpark, and Microsoft Fabric. This role requires strong leadership, architectural vision, and hands-on development capabilities across core software engineering and integrated data workflows.

responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• Develop and maintain backend applications using .NET Core / .NET Framework, C#, and related technologies.
• Lead architectural discussions and design reviews to ensure best practices.
• Integrate core Azure services such as Azure Functions, App Services, Azure SQL, Blob Storage, Key Vault, and Azure DevOps.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate deployments using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Monitor and optimize application performance and scalability.
• Build, optimize, and manage large-scale data processing pipelines and analytics workflows using Python , PySpark , and Microsoft Fabric .
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and data teams to translate data requirements into robust technical solutions.

qualifications:

- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 10+ years of experience in software development with .NET technologies.

- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.

- Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET Core, REST APIs, and Entity Framework.

- Strong understanding of cloud architecture, microservices, and serverless computing.

- Experience with core Azure services: App Services, Functions, Logic Apps, Azure SQL, and Enterprise Data Warehouse.

- Strong understanding of cloud-native design patterns, microservices, and event-driven architecture.

- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD).

Strong programming proficiency in Python, with proven experience building data pipelines using PySpark.

Hands-on experience developing analytics solutions, Lakehouses, and data workflows within Microsoft Fabric.
