Job Description

Senior Scrum Master / Project Manager

An established enterprise is seeking a senior professional to guide large-scale, well-funded data initiatives. This role balances agile facilitation and traditional project oversight to ensure seamless delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Act in a 60/40 blended capacity as a Scrum Master and Project Manager.

  • Present status updates, timelines, resource allocation, and key deliverables directly to VP and C-suite leadership.

  • Oversee end-to-end schedules, scopes, budgets, quality, and risk mitigation strategies.

  • Facilitate cross-functional communication and manage off-site vendor/outsourced teams.

  • Build Jira boards, maintain project repositories, and generate weekly performance dashboards.

  • Supervise security system development initiatives protecting corporate data, personnel, and infrastructure.

Position Details:

  • Hybrid structure (2 days onsite weekly) in Midtown Atlanta, near MARTA. Includes paid parking and premier onsite amenities.

  • 6-month contract with strong potential for recurring 6-month renewals. Candidates should demonstrate a history of long-term contract retention (1+ years per assignment).

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of Project Management experience with a valid CSM certification (PMP and SAFe Agile are highly preferred).

  • Proven background managing Cloud programs, PI Planning, and enterprise-level data initiatives.

  • Strong hybrid delivery experience (Agile/Scrum/Kanban and Waterfall).

  • Exceptional consulting skills; ability to author comprehensive technical requirements and document workflows.

  • Familiarity with Data Governance, Teradata, Databricks, or Research/Data Science environments is a plus.

  • Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
