Principal Data Analyst - PLM Teamcenter

Location: Remote with adhoc visits to UK based site (Bristol, Luton, Southampton, Edinburgh, Basildon) Duration: 6 month contract Rate: £75ph UMB (Inside IR35) Role details:<br />Our defence client is looking for a Principal Data Analyst to support PLM reporting and data analytics across Teamcenter and Enovia platforms. This is a six-month contract opportunity, primarily remote, with occasional visits to offices in Edinburgh, Basildon, Luton or Southampton.

Key Responsibilities:

Work with business stakeholders to understand, document and prioritise reporting requirements<br />Develop wireframes and other representations to support requirements gathering and report design<br />Identify appropriate data sources and define effective approaches for delivering reporting solutions<br />Perform data transformation, modelling and analysis to meet business reporting needs<br />Validate data accuracy and completeness using appropriate quality control and testing techniques<br />Develop clear, meaningful reports and dashboards using Teamcenter Reporting, TCRA and other relevant tools<br />Collaborate with the PLM product team, Data and Analytics colleagues and vendor representatives to resolve issues and improve reporting capability<br />Capture continuous improvement opportunities and contribute to the prioritisation of reporting enhancements Essential Skills and Experience: Experience in data analysis, PLM administration or a closely related discipline<br />Strong knowledge of Teamcenter and PLM platforms, with exposure to Enovia desirable<br />Proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts<br />Understanding of data modelling, data governance and master data management<br />Experience translating user requirements into practical reports and dashboards<br />Ability to conduct data validation, testing and quality assurance<br />Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills<br />Ability to collaborate effectively through remote working, screen sharing and technical troubleshooting Desirable Skills: Experience developing reports within Teamcenter Reporting<br />Knowledge of the Teamcenter Reporting and Analytics Module (TCRA)<br />Understanding of product structures, engineering change processes and product configuration management<br />Awareness of integrations between PLM, ERP and MES systems This is an excellent opportunity for a Principal Data Analyst or PLM Data Functional Analyst to contribute to data-driven improvements across a complex Defence and Security environment.
