Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated researcher to explore emerging technologies in AI Agent data management, Agent Memory, and AI-driven data systems. The role combines technical research and industry analysis with hands-on prototyping and project coordination. You will evaluate academic research, open-source projects, and industry solutions, identify promising opportunities, and work with the team to validate research ideas and advance practical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Track developments in AI Agents, Agent Memory, intelligent data management, and the integration of AI and databases; review relevant research papers, open-source projects, and industry products.

• Identify potential technical innovation opportunities based on practical needs, and propose research directions and feasible validation plans.

• Participate in proof-of-concept (PoC) and demo development, including experimental validation and performance evaluation of new technologies and solutions.

• Support research project planning, progress tracking, technical discussions, and reporting; collaborate with team members to help move research outcomes forward.

Person Specification:

Required:

Education: Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field. Master's degree or PhD preferred.

Programming: Good computer science fundamentals and proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Python, Java, or C++.

Technical interest: Familiarity with, or a strong interest in, databases, data management, large language models (LLMs), or AI Agents.

Research skills: Strong learning, analytical, and summarisation skills; ability to independently read English research papers and produce clear technical reports.

Collaboration: Good communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work effectively in a team.

Desired:

• Project experience related to databases, AI Agents, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), Agent Memory, or multimodal data processing.

• Experience with academic publications, open-source projects, technical surveys, or prototype development.

• Experience in technical project coordination, cross-team communication, or research project support.

• Professional working proficiency in English and Mandarin Chinese is required to support regular communication with HQ stakeholders and manage relevant business documentation.
