Duration: 6+ months (W2 Contract Only)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Java Full Stack Developer to join our team supporting enterprise applications for Guardian. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java backend development along with modern frontend technologies and experience building scalable, cloud-ready applications.

Required Experience

• 11+ years of experience in Java Full Stack Development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java 8/11/17, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and integrating with third-party services.
• Strong frontend development experience using Angular (preferred) or React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience with Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, Hibernate, and ORM frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of SQL databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases (MongoDB preferred) is a plus.
• Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) is desirable.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, debugging, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in the Insurance or Financial Services domain is preferred.
• Experience with event-driven architectures (Kafka/RabbitMQ) is a plus.
• Knowledge of testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.
