The Role

• Manage the nursing schedule to ensure exceptional patient care is consistently provided.
• Collaborate with nursing leaders to identify and implement improvements in nursing department staffing effectiveness.
• Assist and advise supervisors on any issues relating to the nursing schedule and staffing ratios.
• Ensure employee, contract, and student files comply with all regulatory standards.
• Coordinate and communicate assigned schedules to nursing staff in a timely manner.
• Draft professional correspondence, reports, and presentations.

What You'll Need

• High school education or equivalent.
• Previous experience in staffing or scheduling, preferably within a hospital setting.
• Excellent organizational and clerical skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee data.
