Sr. Information Systems Security Officer with Security Clearance

Description Varen, an SAIC company is seeking an experienced Sr. Information Systems Security Officer to join our team. This position is located in Suitland, Maryland and requires a TS/SCI with polygraph.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the creation and continuous maintenance of the IT Systems Accreditation Documentation Packages (SSP, SCTM, CONOPs, A&A, Test Plan, SOP's. User Guides etc).
• Provide IA security on-site support for all formal IT systems and A&A testing.
• Ensure all on-site contract IT systems personnel are trained on all IA procedures and requirements for each of the IT systems.
• Provide IA Security qualified personnel resources to support the continued accreditation and security operation of the information system under the RMF Continuous Monitoring Plan.
• Review all hardware and software changes proposed and/or being implemented for appropriate security operation, providing configuration management support as it relates to the security configuration of the system, updating documentation and hardware and software inventory lists.
• Propose IA policy, procedures, provide IT security training, and perform IA oversight. Qualifications
• Bachelors and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more related experience.
• Active TS/SCI with polygraph. Target salary range: $160,001 - $200,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
