Solution Architect - Global Payroll & Reward Technology

Location: Reading or Dublin
Contract: 6 months
Working Pattern: Hybrid - 3 days per week in the office

I'm looking for an experienced Solution Architect to support a major transformation programme focused on global payroll, reward technology and regulatory reporting. This is an opportunity to shape enterprise-level solutions across multiple European markets, combining architectural leadership with hands-on involvement in solution design and delivery.

You'll lead the development of end-to-end architecture, ensuring solutions meet business requirements while supporting secure, scalable and compliant payroll and workforce data management. The programme includes global payroll integration, Workday technology and solutions supporting EU Pay Transparency requirements.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Strong solution architecture experience, including enterprise-scale design and delivery.
• Proven expertise in global payroll processes across multiple countries and providers.
• Experience with Workday HCM, Workday Compensation and Workday Prism.
• Understanding of EU Pay Transparency, pay equity and compensation reporting.
• Payroll integrations, ETL pipelines and data transformation.
• Azure integration services, SFTP and secure file transfer.
• Payroll finance integrations, including reconciliation and General Ledger posting.
• GDPR, sensitive employee data security and data governance.
• Experience delivering payroll transformation or platform migration programmes.
• Knowledge of architectural frameworks such as TOGAF.
