Job Description

Riccobene Associates Family Dentistry is looking for a full-time Treatment Coordinator to join our North Myrtle Beach office! This is a role for someone who loves connecting with people, has a knack for finances and problem-solving, and takes pride in helping patients feel confident about their dental care journey.

About the Role

As our Treatment Coordinator, you'll be part educator, part advocate, and part financial guide — helping patients understand their treatment plans, feel comfortable with their options, and move forward with confidence. You'll be a key link between clinical care and the business side of the practice, all while delivering the warm, efficient experience our patients count on.

What You'll Do

  • Sit down with patients to understand their oral health history, concerns, and goals
  • Walk patients through their treatment plan, answering questions and addressing concerns
  • Help patients prioritize treatment and map out a plan for scheduling and payment
  • Build genuine trust and rapport with every patient
  • Lead financial consultations for new patients and whenever a new treatment plan is presented
  • Manage payment options and policies that uphold the practice's financial integrity
  • Educate patients on their dental benefits and how they apply to treatment
  • Handle insurance billing, payment posting, and claim estimations
  • Track dental benefit accounts receivable and follow up on claims to keep payments on time
  • Connect patients with outside financing options and explain how they work
  • Monitor patient account balances and support the practice's collections process
  • Welcome new patients to the practice — reviewing health history, explaining the doctor's exam, and highlighting what makes the practice special
  • Greet and check patients in and out before and after treatment
  • Answer incoming calls — new patient inquiries, emergencies, scheduling, records requests, and follow-ups
  • Pitch in on general office duties as needed
  • Oral surgery experience is a plus!

What You Bring

  • Previous front office dental experience required
  • Comfort with computers and the ability to pick up new software, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with dental treatment plans and insurance requirements preferred
  • Experience with dental/medical practice management software a plus
  • Initiative, dependability, and promptness
  • Strong time management and organizational skills to juggle multiple priorities
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written communication and presentation skills
  • Willingness to travel between locations, if needed
  • A balance of independent thinking and team collaboration
  • Excellent phone skills and clear communication with patients and teammates alike

Why You'll Love It Here

  • Full health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Life insurance
  • Paid time off
  • A dynamic role where you make a real impact on patients' care and confidence
