Product Owner (PeopleSoft)

Pay Range: $65 - $75/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:

• Own and manage the product backlog for assigned product areas within the Digital Finance Portfolio.
• Translate portfolio/product strategy into features and user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
• Identify and size opportunities in partnership with stakeholders; support business case development.
• Define and socialize success metrics for backlog items and review outcomes post-release.
• Drive clarity and decisions to enable delivery of complex enhancements and new capabilities.
• Partner with cross-functional teams (technology, operations, compliance, legal, risk) to ensure high-quality outcomes.
• Confirm acceptance criteria, non-functional requirements (NFRs), and control requirements for planned scope.
• Support PI Planning by presenting/refining team scope and negotiating dependencies.
• Enable sprint execution by setting Sprint Goals and maintaining a decision log.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role.
• Prior experience with PeopleSoft implementation and Agile methodologies.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and experience in cross-functional delivery.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
